David Asenov

Software Engineer

“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration. The rest of us just get up and go to work.” - Stephen King

I work as a software engineer at an integrated bank-insurance group. I build AI tools that take on the dull part and give people back time for the work that actually matters.

Outside of work I freelance and follow my curiosity: software for extemporaneous compounding at a research laboratory, a testing framework for chatbots, a booking platform for a music school, sites for events and for recruitment, a generator for election certificates. I'd rather find solutions than talk about problems.

I sing baritone in Morski Zvutsi, a local choir. I ride my bike. I keep fish. I collect minerals. I meditate every morning.

I try to be an active citizen: I take part in charity campaigns and help where I can be useful.

I'm inspired by people who see things through - climbers, opera singers, athletes. Not for the result, but for the years of work nobody sees.

I believe in long, quiet work. It usually brings the best results.

If you have a business, tech or music idea and can't find the person for it - write to me. I reply.
